The statement of the expert group on pain management usingintrathecal drug delivery system (ITDDS) in pain management

<ns3:p>This statement of the Expert Group regarding intrathecal drug delivery system (ITDDS) in pain managementpresents the first structured document in Poland based on scientific evidence from the literature review as well2 Ból 2025, Tom 26, Nr 4, s. 1–7ZALECENIA / GUIDELINESas own clinical experience. It includes complementary aspects related to patient subjectivity, pump mechanism,characteristics of dosing, criteria of inclusion and exclusion into the treatment, solving problems related to thetreatment, but also issues of the current healthcare system. The holistic aspect of this statement allows to bringthe necessary knowledge about ITDDS to physicians working in the field of pain medicine, improving results of thepain treatment and the quality of life of patients with chronic pain.</ns3:p>
