PAPP-D: Dimensional Standardized Battery for the Psychic Arbitrage Profile Protocol Instrument Documentation, Version 0.3

This document provides the technical specification for the PAPP-D (Psychic Arbitrage Profile Protocol — Dimensional), a standardized assessment battery that operationalizes five process-level dimensions of personality functioning through established, psychometrically validated self-report instruments. PAPP-D is designed for empirical research and clinical assessment of personality functioning as conceptualized in ICD-11, and does not require psychodynamic training for administration or scoring. The documentation specifies: (a) the five-dimensional architecture (Accessibility, Liquidity, Transactional Repertoire, Cumulative Cost, Residual Capacity) with explicit construct–measure mappings and acknowledged limitations; (b) the complete instrument battery (TAS-20, DERS-16, DSQ-40, DASS-21, BRS, Brief-COPE; 117 dimensional items plus LPFS-BF 2.0 as external anchor); (c) scoring procedures with explicit z-scoring formulas and a complementary sample-independent metric (POMP); (d) a clinical interpretation guide with between-dimension discrepancy configurations; and (e) two prototypical profiles (depressive-inhibited and affectively closed) illustrating the framework's discriminant logic. PAPP-D should be distinguished from the original PAPP instrument (v0.9; DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18651011), which uses custom clinician-rated and self-report scales requiring psychodynamic competence.
