EORNA v.2: a gene and transcript abundance database and website

EORNA v2 is the latest version of the gene expression database and website. We provide the software in the form of a Docker (https://www.docker.com/) instance. Download the instructions_for_docker.txt file for more information. The provided scripts and database can also be adapted for use without using Docker. The barley version of EORNA2 can be seen at https://ics.hutton.ac.uk/eorna2/index.html. A full description of the datasets used in the barley version are at doi:10.5281/zenodo.18466204 (EORNA v.2 barley gene and transcript abundance dataset). Further software used in the development of EORNA2 are at https://github.com/cropgeeks/eorna-v2/tree/main. You will need the following files (an example dataset of Globodera pallida is provided in the globo_example_data folder) A file of metadata The gff file of the transcriptome used for salmon mapping Annotation file (this can contain any information in the second column, but the first column must be the gene name) The reference genomic FASTA file The transcriptome FASTA file A folder of the salmon quantifications, one folder per run accession. The run accession must match the one given in the metadata file.
