Abstract

FARD involves a progressive decline in kidney function and glomerular injury. eGFR<sub>cr</sub> masks kidney dysfunction in Fontan patients due to reduced muscle mass. Fontan intrarenal hemodynamics demonstrate decreased venous and arterial compliance. Moreover, continuous intrarenal venous flow persists in Fontan patients.
