Identifying Emotional Regulation in Nursing Students

Preparing nursing students for emotional challenges before entering the nursing profession is essential. This study highlights the lack of nursing students' emotional regulation skill growth in nursing programs in a south-central region of the United States and highlights the need to assist students in developing adaptive emotional regulation skills before entering the nursing profession to prevent negative outcomes. Strategies to assist in the development of skills are presented.
