Therapeutic Advances of Phytochemicals and Clinical Trials in Renal Cell Carcinoma: Evidence from 2019-2025

abstract: More than 90% of all renal malignancies are renal cell carcinoma, the most prevalent kind of kidney cancer, and possess a diverse set of illnesses that can be hereditary or sporadic. Approximately 14,000 individuals pass away from renal cell carcinoma each year. In the United States and other nations, the prevalence of this has been sharply rising. A better knowledge of its genetics and molecular biology has revealed a number of signaling pathways that contribute to the cancer's development. Building on this immunotherapeutic strategy, new immunological technologies such as gene, dendritic cell, vaccination, and antibody therapy will be used for the management of renal cell carcinoma in the future. The treatment outcomes are further highlighted by their roles in therapeutic resistance, such as chemoresistance and radioresistance. Phytomolecules like resveratrol, curcumin, and quercetin to target lncRNA-mediated pathways, providing information on new treatment approaches. Researchers and physicians choose natural chemicals because of their inexpensive cost and superior tolerance. Overall, we looked at many natural compounds and extracts that have shown a range of anti-renalcancer properties, such as kahweol acetate, honokiol, englerin A, epigallocatechin-3-gallate, and various extracts. Studies have demonstrated that natural product agents have few to no negative side effects, and recent research has indicated that they are highly successful in vitro and in vivo cancer models. This article examines the therapeutic potential for the treatment of kidney cancer.
