General theoretical problems of constitutional legal relations

The enduring problems of a correlation between the general theory of law and various specific branches of legal science have recently received much attention. Reconsidering this correlation from the perspective of modern political and legal paradigms would bring about more effective systemic connections between different legal disciplines. In this context, of particular importance is the connection between the general theory of state and law and constitutional law, which is most clearly manifested at the level of legal relations. The results of a general theoretical analysis carried out at three levels of constitutional legal relations (general, specific, and actual) make it possible to revise the “human–state–business” relation using the basic provision of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, which recognizes the human being as the highest value.
