Beyond Einstein: The Theory of Functional Energy Dynamics (FED)

Energy drives the universe, yet prevailing models remain anchored to idealized, closed-system frameworks that neglect how energy behaves in real-world, open, and entropic environments. The Theory of Functional Energy Dynamics (FED) addresses this limitation by introducing the Law of Functional Energy Manifestation (LFEM), which posits that energy usability is determined not by total quantity alone, but by the interaction between system design, environmental context, and entropy. FED extends Einstein's mass-energy equivalence (E = mc²) through a context-sensitive efficiency coefficient η(D, C), yielding E = η.mc², where η encodes design and contextual factors. To operationalize this principle, FED introduces the Effective Energy Index (EEI) as a universal, dimensionless metric for quantifying usable energy relative to total energy input.
