[Advances in all-oral short-course regimens for drug-resistant tuberculosis].

The global epidemic of drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB) remains a major public health challenge. Prolonged treatment duration, substantial drug-related toxicity, and high rates of treatment failure and disease relapse continue to impede progress towardthe World Health Organization "End TB Strategy" strategy. With the clinical introduction of novel oral anti-TB drugs, treatment efficacy and safety have significantly improved compared to conventional regimens. In this context, all-oral shorter-course regimens have emerged as a major focus in drug-resistant tuberculosis treatment. This review summarizes the latest treatment regimens for DR-TB along with outcomes from completed studies and ongoing clinical trials conducted both domestically and internationally. The objective is to enhance clinical understanding of DR-TB management strategies.
