Biological thermal aspects of buongiorno flow model saturated by gyrotactic microorganisms through a slanted channel associated to chemical reaction

Abstract Heat and mass transfer investigation in Buongiorno nanofluid between two inclined rotating plates in the presence of swing microbes and chemical reaction is a topic of key interest. It has many industrial and engineering applications bio-microfluidic devices, thermal collectors, cooling systems and in industrial chemical reactors where heat and mass transport can be controlled such configuration. Thus, a fluid problem is formulated in an inclined revolving plate by taking the influence of microbes, chemical reaction, mixed convection and magnetic field. Set of similarity transformations and governing physical laws used for this purpose. As a result, the nonlinear model achieved which handled numerically and obtained the desired results. The larger inclination shows rapid fluid movement while the magnetic field control the motion inside the plates. Further, the temperature improved by strengthening the Brownian and thermophoresis effects and slow variations are observed for Reynolds number. The mass transport can be reduced with N b , Schmidt and chemical reaction and it improves for higher N t effects. Moreover, drop in the density motile of microorganisms is observed for Reynolds and Lewis numbers while Peclet number promote it. The study has potential applications in variety of engineering and industrial applications where heat and mass transfer can be achieved up to desired level by setting the model parameters. The results validated with the literature and found aligned with them.
