Instability of MHD Poiseuille flow of nanoparticles FeO in water cylinder flow

This study investigates the stability and instability of MHD Poiseuille flow in a cylindrical geometry containing Fe 2 O 3 –water nanofluid, subjected to a transverse magnetic field. The novelty of this work lies in applying the Chebyshev Collocation Method for solving the governing equations and utilizing the QZ (Qualität and Zuverlässigkeit) technique to address the eigenvalue problem associated with flow stability. Nanofluids, due to their enhanced thermal properties, are critical for applications in heat exchangers and electronic cooling systems. In this study, the nanofluid is modeled with Ferro-oxide (Fe 2 O 3 ) nanoparticles in water. The analysis focuses on calculating Reynolds values, wave speed, and wave number, with numerical results presented through tables and graphs. The findings provide insights into the effects of magnetic fields on the stability of the nanofluid flow, offering potential applications in improving thermal management systems.
