Dark Energy as Fabric Tension: A Unified Explanation for Cosmic Acceleration

The accelerating expansion of the universe, attributed to dark energy, remains one of the deepest mysteries in modern cosmology. In the context of the Al-Ani Fabric Theory, we propose that dark energy is not a separate entity or a cosmological constant, but a manifestation of the intrinsic tension of the quantized spacetime fabric itself. As the universe expands, the fundamental Planck cubes are stretched, storing potential energy that drives accelerated expansion. We derive the dark energy density ρ_DE directly from the fabric's fundamental parameters, showing its near-constancy and slight evolution over time. The model yields a Hubble constant H₀ = 68.5 ± 1.2 km/s/Mpc and predicts a specific, testable form for the equation of state parameter w(z) = -1 + ε(1-a) with ε ≈ 0.02. This framework naturally resolves the cosmological constant problem and offers a geometric, unified explanation for cosmic acceleration. The theory has already made 19+ successful predictions across quantum mechanics, black hole shadows, and galaxy dynamics, with χ²/dof = 0.0617 for quantum entanglement experiments.
