A homoeopathic treated case report of chronic psoriasis with associated gastric complaints organon of medicine

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder often associated with systemic and psychosomatic complaints. This case report presents a patient with psoriasis patches predominantly involving the Abdomen, back, for the past four years, accompanied by intense itching, burning, nocturnal aggravation, bleeding, and relief from cold water. The patient also reported unrefreshing sleep, excessive sleepiness, hair fall, impaired memory recall, and prominent gastrointestinal symptoms including acidity, gaseous distension, and flatulence. Past medical history revealed dengue, and operated piles in 2018. Personal history indicated a vegetarian diet, cravings for sweets and pungent food, aversion to bitter and sour substances, profuse perspiration, and a hot thermal reaction. Mentally, the patient was extroverted and easily mixed but fear of alone, weak memory. Family history was largely non-contributory. Lycopodium clavatum was prescribed based on totality of symptoms. An initial homoeopathic aggravation was observed, followed by gradual improvement and complete remission of psoriatic lesions.
