Visible-Light-Induced Oximo-Thioesterification of Alkenes with <i>tert</i> -Butyl Nitrite and Thioacids Leading to α-Thioester Oximes

A visible-light-induced oximo-thioesterification of alkenes with <i>tert</i>-butyl nitrite and thioacids leading to the formation of α-thioester oximes has been developed. This transformation provides a series of diverse α-thioester oximes in moderate to good yields at room temperature. The present photocatalytic protocol has the advantages of metal-free condition, simple operation, green energy source, and favorable functional group tolerance.
