Lambda Orionis Cluster/Orion OB2 and shell-like system

Here is the shell-like system around the star Meissa, which I identified a few years ago. The shells do not appear to be formed from ionized gas, so they scatter the light of nearby hot stars.Meissa is a blue giant star of spectral type O8III, weighing 28 solar masses. Its companion, separated by 4.4", is of class B0.5V.The pair is part of the Lambda Orionis Cluster/Orion OB2, a seemingly sparse cluster that actually contains massive stars and a significant number of YSOs. The same cluster ionizes the large cloud known as Sh2-264.It is likely—but remains to be verified—that the shell-like system is due to mass-loss episodes typical of hot, massive stars, perhaps modulated by the nearby companion.
