Abstract This paper presents the planning and execution of a multiwell intervention campaign in the Gulf of America where gas-lift valves and barrier valves required replacement due to barrier integrity issues and leaking valves. The objective was to evaluate the use of wireline stroker technology along with a specially designed changeout tool for gas-lift changeouts, assess its operational effectiveness, and capture lessons learned for future well intervention programs. The intervention was conducted using a wireline powered intervention stroker equipped with a kickover tool to retrieve and install gas-lift valves in deviated wells. Real-time measurement and depth accuracy enabled more precise tool placement and operational decision-making. The campaign was executed through close collaboration between the operating company and multiple service providers, integrating wireline intervention expertise with gas-lift equipment design. Modifications to the kickover tool were introduced during the campaign to address challenges in valve positioning. The multiwell campaign demonstrated that wireline intervention can provide a reliable and efficient alternative to slickline and coiled tubing for gas-lift valve changeouts. The approach reduced surface footprint, improved accuracy in deviated wells, and enabled faster decision-making through real-time feedback. Several wells with barrier leaks and failed valves were successfully restored to operating condition. Challenges were encountered in setting valves correctly on a few runs, but these were identified real time with the help of the instrumentation and processes were put in place to mitigate this as well as further by tool design improvements by the valve provider. Lessons learned highlight the importance of tool adaptability and service company integration in successful delivery. The overall results indicate that wireline stroker technology can expand the operational envelope for artificial lift optimization while reducing intervention complexity. This paper documents the campaign where gas-lift mandrel and valve changeouts were executed using wireline powered intervention technology. It adds to industry knowledge by demonstrating the feasibility of wireline-based solutions for barrier-challenged wells, presenting field-proven lessons learned, and showing how cross-company collaboration can accelerate tool adaptation to overcome operational challenges
