This dataset presents a collection of experimental data for the analysis of Myoblast C2C12 cell attachment behaviour on Poly-3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate (P3HBV) films of increasing thicknesses relative to polymer concentration. P3HBV films synthesized at concentrations of 1%, 3%, 5%, 7% results in reliefs of varying surface morphology and thicknesses. Myoblast C2C12 when synthsezied on these surfaces results in varying levels of cell attachement characteristics (i.e. number of cells, size of cells, distribution etc). Atomic force microscope (AFM) scans of the P3HBV film surfaces, Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images of the P3HBV films and Fluroscence micrscope (FM) images of myoblast cells segmented using Cellpose plus [1], the data was analysed and the experimental inferences addressed in the work “Topological Tuning: P3HBV Surface Morphology Drives C2C12 Myoblast Attachment and Growth” 2026 (doi: ____________); Further, we include computed results of Topological Data Analysis (TDA) [2] and threshold relief analysis (TRA) [3] implemented and used in the above study. This dataset consists of: AFM - AFM data: Processed AFM scan data of P3HBV films of [1, 3, 5, 7]% concentrations – 3 samples under each concentration (12+1 Images) in [2D, 3D, Feature, Processed Data] nomenculature for compatiblity with Gwyddion and statistical data analysis usage. - AFM_TDA: Computed and processed results of TDA on the P3HBV AFM data. - AFM_TRA: Computed and processed results of TRA on the P3HBV AFM data – exhaustive results coverage to include [1st, 2nd] order box counting approaches, [4, 8]-neighbourhoods, [100, 500, 1000] threshold slices. - AFM_Source: Processed AFM data (Gwyddion readable) used in the TDA & TRA morphology analysis approaches SEM Data - SEM images of the P3HBV film surfaces C1, C3, C5, C7 for Pore analysis study at images sizes of [10x10, 30x30, 50x50 ] µm2 FM & Segmentation Data - Fluroscence microscope images of cultivated cells on P3HBV films of C1, C3, C5, C7 with 5 image areas under each concentration. Segmentation masks of Cytoplasm and Nuclei area represented individuall and with their statistics such as cell count, Area covered, Roundness, Continous Symmetry measure (CSM), Voronoi Entropy and Ratio of cell to cytoplasm area.
