The publication touches upon the topic of pedagogical safety in educational organizations of secondary vocational education. Pedagogical safety is a fairly young pedagogical science with its own specific scientific apparatus, goals, content, in demand in the fi eld of modern education. The issues of pedagogical safety of secondary vocational education are poorly covered, which requires a more in-depth consideration. The article provides definitions of pedagogical safety, the effectiveness of pedagogical safety, threats to pedagogical safety, conditions of pedagogical safety in educational organizations of secondary vocational education. A general overview of the psychophysiological age characteristics of students of educational prevailing type of subculture of the educational organization of secondary vocational education. It is determined that psychophysiological processes of the individual develop in communication with peers in the conditions of a specific surrounding social environment, and this factor can possibly be considered as fundamental for creating a safe pedagogical environment in an educational organization of secondary vocational education. The criteria for pedagogical safety of the educational environment, external and internal sources of threats are presented. Measures for ensuring pedagogical safety are built from the experience of practical activities of an educational organization of secondary vocational education.
