D5.5 The Utilization of Project Models and Blueprints for Climate City Contracts of the EU City Mission | SUPERSHINE

The purpose of this document is to present how SUPERSHINE project solutions can supportEuropean cities in the development and implementation of Climate City Contracts (CCCs)under the EU Mission “100 Climate Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030”. The deliverableprovides a structured overview of existing climate strategies in SUPERSHINE cities andanalyses how these strategies can be reinforced through the application of SUPERSHINEsolutions.A particular focus of the document is placed on the development of Blueprints that take intoaccount the diversity of European urban contexts, including differences in governancestructures, climatic conditions, and socio-economic realities. In line with the objectives of theproject, special attention is given to the affordable energy transition and to the role of public,cooperative, and social housing as key leverage points for achieving climate neutrality in asocially inclusive manner.By matching city-level actions and targets with SUPERSHINE solutions, the document aimsto support cities in translating strategic climate commitments into implementable pathways,while contributing to the overall ambition of enabling 100 climate-neutral cities by 2030.
