In 2024, the Institute for the Rule of Law at the European University at Saint Petersburg conducted the third wave of a nationwide representative crime victimization survey in Russia. A total of 14,779 respondents were interviewed. Of these, 11,323 participants were recruited via Random Digit Dialing (RDD), including 2,685 crime victims. Additionally, the sample included a longitudinal component consisting of 3,456 re-interviewed participants from the 2021 wave (including 542 crime victims). To the best of the authors' knowledge, this is the first specialized longitudinal study of crime victims in Russia. The third-wave questionnaire introduced new items regarding trust in law enforcement and risky lifestyle behaviors, while the section on cybercrime was further expanded. The dataset may contain errors due to extensive preprocessing and data cleaning. If possible, please use the latest version of the dataset.

Please forward any questions and comments about the data to Dmitriy Bobrikov (d.bobrikov@eu.spb.ru).
