Innovative mechanochemical synthesis of lipopeptide surfactants through direct amidation of fatty esters: application to silk-derived amphiphilic lipopeptides

New mechanochemical strategy for producing lipoamino acids through amidation was studied. The methodology was applied to produce amphiphilic silk sericin lipopeptides.
