Lung fibroblast activation protein expression is associated with extracellular matrix remodelling in post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2

Pulmonary fibroblast activation protein expression in post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 is associated with circulating extracellular matrix fragments reflecting collagen type III degradation (C3M) and collagen type VI formation (PRO-C6). Elevated VICM may reflect macrophage activation.
