Alarming tendencies of polymicrobial blood culture and intestinal “sterility”

This paper presents the results of a study of blood for sterility and feces for dysbiosis. In cases of bloodstream infections, only clinically significant pathogens were taken into account. Feces for dysbiosis in newborns were not taken into account due to the possible immaturity of the intestine and the lack of a developed intestinal microflora.
