The chapter discusses Urban Mobility 5.0 as an emerging paradigm that furthers the notion of multimodal transportation systems and utilises advanced technologies to increase the urban sustainability, resilience, and inclusivity. It explores the theoretical underpinnings, the enabling technologies, governance systems and international best practice that is powering urban mobility of the future. The chapter reports on critical issues in institutional innovation, policy reform, and citizen-focused design by analysing its details.
