Histopathological microscopic photographs of myocardial infarction obtained from 80 postmortem cases.

The dataset used in this study consists of histopathological microscopic images of myocardial infarction obtained from 80 postmortem cases. The images were collected from routine forensic autopsies and include representative microscopic features of myocardial tissue at different stages of infarction. All samples were prepared using standard histological procedures and stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E). The dataset was curated to ensure image quality and diagnostic relevance. Each image was reviewed by experienced pathologists and categorized based on morphological characteristics. No personally identifiable information is included in the dataset. Due to ethical and legal considerations related to postmortem human tissue, the dataset is not publicly available but can be provided upon reasonable request to the corresponding author, subject to institutional approval.
