The dataset provided in this repository consists of ultrasonic waveform signals collected from single lap joint (SLJ) specimens under different damage conditions and measurement positions. The data were acquired using piezoelectric transducers (PZT) and processed in MATLAB for the purpose of structural health monitoring and damage characterization in bonded joints. The dataset includes multiple damage states, where each state corresponds to a specific crack length in the adhesive region of the SLJ specimen (e.g., state 0 represents a healthy condition with no crack, while higher states correspond to increasing crack lengths). Additionally, measurements are performed at different positions along the specimen, representing distinct bending or sensing locations, allowing for comparative analysis of wave propagation under varying structural conditions. All data have been collected, processed, and organized as part of experimental research and are provided here without modification to support reproducibility, further analysis, and methodological development in ultrasonic-based damage detection. The use of these data is intended solely for academic and research purposes. Proper credit should be given when using or referencing this dataset.
