IVC Thrombosis From Adrenal Metastasis in Lung Carcinoma

Adrenal metastasis is common in cases of lung carcinoma, with an incidence ranging from 3% to 7.6%. Many solid tumors have complication of tumor thrombus in IVC. It is very rare to see IVC tumor thrombus in cases of lung carcinoma. We report a case in which adrenal metastasis from lung cancer caused tumor thrombus in IVC, which was detected on 18 F-FDG PET-CT.
