The article discusses modern pedagogical innovations in higher education as a key factor in ensuring the quality of education in the context of globalization and Ukraine's integration into the global educational space. It shows that their implementation contributes to the modernization of the educational process, the renewal of its content and methods, as well as the formation of a set of competencies in students necessary for successful self-realization in the context of international competition and functioning in a global knowledge society. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the main directions of innovative activity in the field of higher education. The first of these is the digital transformation and integration of artificial intelligence into the educational process, which opens up new opportunities for personalizing learning and improving the effectiveness of educational practices. The article focuses on the provisions of current recommendations for the responsible use of AI technologies in higher education institutions. The second area covers innovative pedagogical approaches and educational technologies, including student-centered learning, project and research activities, the use of immersive technologies (VR/AR), and methodological flexibility of teachers as a condition for adapting the educational process to the needs of students. The third direction is related to updating the content of education and introducing a competency-based approach, which involves interdisciplinarity, the development of “soft skills,” and the concept of lifelong learning. The fourth direction covers the management of innovative processes in higher education, ensuring their consistency and effectiveness. The classification of pedagogical innovations by level of novelty, scope of application, scale of dissemination, source of origin, and nature of change is considered separately. This allows for the systematization of innovative processes and the determination of their prospects in the context of the strategic development of universities. The empirical basis of the study is the results of a survey of teachers at the Central Ukrainian National Technical University, which made it possible to identify the most priority areas for the implementation of innovative practices. Respondents emphasized the importance of using VR/AR technologies to create virtual laboratories, educational simulations, and excursions; interactive quests; interdisciplinary projects; online platforms with adaptive content; microlearning and short video lessons. The effectiveness of coaching and mentoring programs was noted, as well as the practice of students creating digital portfolios to demonstrate their achievements and competencies. It has been concluded that innovative pedagogical practices are becoming one of the key conditions for improving the competitiveness of Ukrainian higher education. Their systematic and responsible implementation contributes not only to the harmonious development of the national education system in a global context, but also to the formation of a new generation of specialists capable of critical thinking, creativity, professional mobility, and effective activity in a knowledge society.
