Fate and stability of root exudates in coastal wetland soils

Source data for the manuscript Fate and stability of root exudates in coastal wetland soils. The dataset includes Excel files containing: (1) δ¹³C signatures of plant tissues and soils for Elymus athericus and Spartina anglica (Table S1); (2) δ¹³C signatures of soil organic carbon in ¹³C-labeled and unlabeled soils during long-term incubation (Figure 2); (3) cumulative total respiration during four weeks of incubation under oxic and anoxic conditions (Figure 3); and (4) δ¹³C signatures of total carbon in the headspace during four weeks of incubation under oxic and anoxic conditions (Figures 4 and 5). These files provide the underlying data for the analyses presented in the manuscript.
