This supplementary material provides detailed documentation of the case studies, Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) monitoring devices, and statistical analyses employed in the study. It presents comprehensive profiles of selected university buildings across Southeast Nigeria, highlighting their spatial characteristics, occupancy patterns, and prevailing environmental conditions. The document further outlines the technical specifications, calibration procedures, and deployment strategies of the IoT-enabled sensors used to monitor key IEQ parameters, including temperature, relative humidity, carbon dioxide (CO₂) concentration, and energy consumption. In addition, the supplementary section incorporates SPSS-generated ANOVA tables presented in manuscript format, enabling rigorous statistical comparison of environmental performance across buildings and monitoring scenarios. These tables support the evaluation of significant differences in IEQ metrics between IoT-enabled and conventional monitoring approaches. The integration framework, data acquisition protocols, and sensor positioning strategies are also clearly illustrated. Overall, this dataset strengthens the transparency, reproducibility, and analytical robustness of the study, allowing for validation of the proposed IoT-enabled monitoring framework within real-world academic environments.
