Exploring turnover dynamics in Iberian Oak forests under climate change scenarios - Raster maps of Figures 8, 9 and 10

Projected Species Turnover Rasters for Iberian Oak Forests under Climate Change Scenarios This dataset provides high-resolution raster files (GeoTIFF, EPSG:4326 – WGS 84, spatial resolution: 1 × 1 km) representing projected interspecific turnover zones among three silicicole oak species — Quercus pyrenaica, Quercus suber, and Quercus robur s.l. — across the Iberian Peninsula. Projections were generated under two climate change scenarios (SSP3-7.0 and SSP5-8.5) and two future time windows (2041–2070 and 2071–2100). These data suport the results presented at Passos et al. (2026), published in Discover Conservation (https://doi.org/10.1007/s44353-026-00084-0). Three turnover combinations are provided, corresponding to Figures 8, 10, and 11 of the publication: (1) Q. pyrenaica replaced by Q. suber; (2) Q. robur s.l. replaced by Q. pyrenaica; and (3) Q. robur s.l. and Q. pyrenaica replaced by Q. suber. Raster values are binary: 1 = turnover zone, 0 = no turnover. File organization Files are organized by climate scenario and time period: pessimistic_ssp585/ 2041-2070/ 2071-2100/ intermediate_ssp370/ 2041-2070/ 2071-2100/ ### Usage notesThese rasters can be used to identify areas of potential species replacement under future climate scenarios and support conservation planning and forest management strategies.
