Revision of the Ariantinae. 5. The genus Dinarica Kobelt, 1902 (Gastropoda: Pulmonata: Helicidae)

Native to the Balkan region, species of the genus Dinarica are revised based on conchological characters. In addition, the anatomy of the genital organs and some selected morphological features of the body are discussed. Localities are listed and the current distribution of the species presented on maps. The shells of all taxa recognized as valid, including the shells of many synonymous species, are illustrated. The new species, Dinarica (D.) skutariensis spec. nov., is described. The differences in the genital organs of the species D. (Sabljaria) stenomphala to Dinarica (Dinarica) s. str. corroborate the separate position of the subgenus Sabljaria.
