The methodology of selecting vehicles in the mineral deposits of the Far Eastern region of Russia

The intensive development of the subsoil of Siberia and the Far East requires the equipping of mining enterprises with modern technology, including vehicles. A three-stage methodology is proposed for selecting vehicles for transporting rock to landfills after loading with excavators and other transportation operations. The first stage is preliminary in terms of the number of buckets unloaded by the excavator into the dump truck body. The second stage is the assessment of the required number of dump trucks at the quarry. The third stage is to check vehicles for traction characteristics at this quarry. The use of the proposed methodology will make it possible to exclude the acquisition of inefficient motor vehicles for this mining enterprise.
