PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS IN INDUSTRY

This article presents an assessment of the practical effectiveness of integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in industrial sectors, focusing on energy efficiency, cost reduction, and waste management.Several sectors are considered, including railway, manufacturing, transport, energy, and service sectors.The analysis is based on the Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) and Cost Efficiency (CE%) indicators, which allow comparison of technological and economic performance.The results indicate that the railway sector demonstrates the highest efficiency indicators, while the manufacturing sector also shows strong performance.Other sectors reveal average or lower results, indicating the need for improved resource utilization and process optimization.The article provides recommendations for implementing energy-efficient technologies, improving waste management systems, and optimizing industrial processes to support sustainable development.
