Electromagnetic Rail Lunar Launch System (EMRLLS): Architecture and Performance Trade Space for Lunar-Surface-to-Orbit Logistics

This repository contains a preprint of the manuscript: “Electromagnetic Rail Lunar Launch System (EMRLLS): Architecture and Performance Trade Space for Lunar Surface-to-Orbit Logistics,” currently under review at Advances in Space Research. This version (Version 2) includes the revised manuscript and supplementary computational models (S1–S3) implemented in MATLAB and Python. These scripts provide a reproducible analytical framework linking infrastructure scaling, payload-class constraints, and orbital feasibility. • S1 – Infrastructure and power scaling model • S2 – Payload-class trade study • S3 – Orbital feasibility and Δv analysis Together, these materials provide computational traceability for the analytical relationships presented in the manuscript and enable parametric exploration of the EMRLLS design space.
