Dataset: MicroRNAs as Epigenetic Modulators in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Diseases — PubMed Systematic Review Dataset (2015–2025)

This dataset supports the integrative systematic review: "MicroRNAs as Epigenetic Modulators in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Diseases: An Integrative Systematic Review with Bibliometric and Bioinformatic Analysis" (manuscript submitted to Neurological Sciences, Springer Nature). Contents:• File 1 (pubmed_results_2015_2025.csv): Full dataset of 1,000 PubMed articles retrieved via Biopython API (Jan 2015 – Oct 2025), including PMID, title, abstract, journal, year, authors, and MeSH descriptors.• File 2 (top100_miRNA_AD_PD_annotated.csv): Top 100 highest-scoring articles with automated annotations: disease focus (AD=58%, PD=30%, AD+PD=10%), study type, analytical method, sample type, and extracted miRNA identifiers.• File 3 (código_do_tcc.py): Complete Python 3 source code (Google Colab-compatible) for PubMed retrieval, relevance scoring, automated classification, chart generation (matplotlib), and PCA analysis.• File 4 (README.txt): Full documentation of the dataset, search strategy, column descriptions, and reproduction instructions.
