Vietnam, Quang Binh Province, Hoan Son village, Cave Hang Cha Ra, 17.768511ºN, 105. 895018ºE, 400 m a.s.l. (Golovatch 2016). Remarks. This was the first species of Chamberlinius to be recorded from mainland Southeast Asia, representing a significant extension of the previously known generic range that had been thought to be confined to Taiwan and the Ryukyu Islands of Japan. It is known only from its type locality, a cave in Quang Binh Province, Vietnam, suggesting it is a troglophile.
