THE PROBLEM OF ENSURING RUSSIA'S NATIONAL SECURITY IN THE CONTEXT OF MENTAL WARS

At the present stage of the development of international relations, there is a tendency for the transformation of foreign policy tools and the transition to the use of non-violent methods of influencing. The Russian Federation, as a key subject of world politics, is being subjected to active destructive processing, which is qualified by experts as a full-fledged mental war. The article is devoted to the analysis of the essence of mental warfare, its methods, as well as ways and means of countering the tools of mental warfare. There is an extreme danger of mental influence due to its unnoticeability. The conclusion is drawn about the need, within the framework of ensuring Russia's national security in the mental sphere, to make efforts aimed not only at preserving traditional spiritual and moral values, but also at the formation of such values, as well as the use of "soft power" tools aimed at the world community to form a positive perception of Russia and its people and reduce the level of hostility. in relation to it and the conflict of international relations in general.
