BACKGROUND: The author of the article touches on the topic of the supply of agricultural security equipment in remote regions. The results of studies of the total number of fires for the period from 2019 to 2023, as well as statistical data on the distribution of fires in rural areas by the main causes of occurrence, are presented. AIMS: The purpose of the work is to conduct research in the field of special purpose robotic vehicles for the introduction of innovative fire extinguishing equipment into the fire protection of settlements and collective farms. Through research and analysis of external environmental factors, the author comes to solutions that contribute to improving the safety of human life. The safety of human life and the environment is the highest priority for increasing the growth rate of cooperative organizations and conducting large-scale agricultural production. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The development of autonomous complexes performing operations in hard–to-reach conditions are a sought-after area. The availability of special equipment for the first response services makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of providing the necessary assistance. The resulting developments will allow aid services to better adapt to emergency situations in such a way as to prevent or eliminate their consequences. RESULTS: The COMPASS 3D software was used to develop and simulate the main fire extinguishing machine. Based on the advantages and disadvantages of analog special-purpose devices, ways to modernize the design of equipment are proposed. The article contains methodological guidelines for calculating the traction properties of the caterpillar engine. CONCLUSIONS: According to the results of the research, an increasing trend of fires in Russia in the period from 2019 to 2023 was revealed. A model for conducting rescue operations in particularly difficult conditions has been developed. A mathematical calculation of the coefficient of adhesion of the crawler to the ground has been performed.
