Advanced OTP Based EV Charging and Maintenance Assistive System

The rapidly accelerating global transition towards electric vehicles highlights the critical necessity for cutting-edge charging innovations that tackle issues of accessibility and safety. This paper introduces an OTP-based charging system that can offer vehicle-to-vehicle wireless charging, coupled with GPS tracking and smart fault detection. The system proposed facilitates EV users in low battery emergencies to call for help through a secure website where OTP authentication confirms system integrity. After being authenticated, the system employs geo-location information to locate the user's vehicle and sends out mobile charging vehicles. Charging automatically initiates as the EV reaches the point in question, reducing reliance on static infrastructure. At the same time, the system uses voltage and current sensors to check charging behavior in real time. By processing current-voltage characteristics, the system can check for anomalies like overcurrent, undervoltage, and abnormal charging cycles and prevents unsafe charging practices. This method increases the convenience of the user, facilitates charging ease, and provides safety to batteries, ultimately leading to the mass appeal and reliability of EVs.
