Sustainable Concrete Mix Design Incorporating Recycled Glass and Marble Dust as Construction Waste Materials

This research aims to assess the mechanical and durability characteristics of sustainable concrete incorporating recycled glass and marble dust. The study primarily evaluates parameters such as compressive strength, workability, and overall performance of the modified concrete mix. Experimental analysis was conducted by preparing various mix proportions with different replacement levels and subjecting the specimens to standard curing conditions before testing. The findings reveal that optimum replacement percentages of recycled glass as fine aggregate and marble dust as partial cement substitute contribute positively to strength performance while simultaneously minimizing environmental degradation.The study concludes that the incorporation of construction and demolition waste materials in concrete production significantly supports sustainable development practices. It helps in reducing the burden on landfills, conserving natural resources, and decreasing the overall carbon emissions associated with conventional construction processes.
