Supplementary data to the article "Folding of a single layer in an effectively anisotropic host: the role of viscosity stratification and confinement on growth rates and fold patterns"

The supplementary material provides high-resolution visualizations of two-dimensional finite element simulations examining the influence of multilayer stack geometry and viscosity stratification on fold development under layer-parallel shortening. The dataset includes results for a range of initial configurations after 60% of shortening. Configuration labels are consistent with those used in the main text to ensure unambiguous correlation between figures and the corresponding numerical experiments.
