Data Analysis and Effective Presentation Methods

This chapter emphasizes on different methods analyzing the data and presents the results in effective way. These methods also enable the users to focus on the required variables and visualize the results in effective manner. Data collection (integration) is the primary task and data can be collected from multiple heterogeneous sources. Therefore, once the data is collected, it requires application of the ‘data cleaning' step. In the initial phase, researchers must divide the given variables into ‘dependent' and ‘independent' variables. Once the ‘data cleaning' task completes next is to work on ‘qualitative', ‘quantitative', ‘descriptive', ‘predictive' and ‘prescriptive' analysis. There are many sectors where data analysis plays very important role like healthcare, space, education, manufacturing, finance, supply chain etc. Integrating data from multiple sources is very critical task and has to face few challenges like highly configured machines are required, skillful human resource and most important powerful algorithms.
