Introduction: This study examines the causal dynamics of electricity market integration and price differentials across seven European markets—Austria, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Italy (South), Romania, and Slovenia—using the nonlinear, information-theoretic framework of Normalized Transfer Entropy (NTE).
