Ice and snow education and skill development:innovative practices in university ski instruction

This study focuses on practical teaching in skiing, employing methods including literature review, questionnaire surveys, and empirical research to explore the construction of ski course systems, innovations in teaching models, expansion of practical pathways, and the integration of Ideological and Political Education (IPE) into the curriculum. The findings indicate the following: the development of an integrated "theorytrainingpractice" curriculum system oriented toward professional skills and characterized by distinct ice-and-snow features; the innovation of a blended teaching model of "foundation-building on campus, skill-enhancement off campus", deepening university-enterprise collaboration in ski resorts; the in-depth exploration of the ideological and political value of skiing; and the provision of a reference framework for high-quality ski instruction in universities in the capital, cultivating reserve talents in ice-and-snow sports and multi-skilled professionals in physical education.
