Optimization of the cooling system of the head part of the combustion chamber of the gas turbine engine

Optimal distribution of cooling air is a pressing issue. This problem must be addressed during combustion chamber design and fine-tuning. Burnout of combustion chamber components often occurs during operation. This requires the implementation of new design solutions for air redistribution to ensure combustion chamber cooling. To address the problem of combustion chamber annular head overheating, a calculation was performed to estimate the temperature state of the gas on its wall. Based on the calculation results, areas with elevated temperatures were identified. Measures to reduce the temperature state of the outer part of the annular head are proposed. These measures involve minimal modification of the original combustion chamber design by installing an additional row of holes on the annular head. Calculation data showed that the implementation of the measure of creating an additional row of holes affects the temperature field of the gas flow on the surface of the annular head.
