Bridging the Gap in Cardiogenic Shock: Insights from the First ACVC-EAPCI Joint School

In 2025, the first Cardiogenic Shock School was organised by the ESC Acute Cardiovascular Care society (ACVC) in collaboration with the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI).Cardiogenic shock remains one of the most complex and life-threatening conditions in cardiovascular medicine, associated with persistently high morbidity and mortality.Recognising the urgent need for structured, high -quality education, ACVC and EAPCI have joined forces to create this innovative, two -tiered educational programme.In this issue of ScienceThe ACVC community is one of the smallest ESC communities, but this allows for easier contact with peers across 1 Europe and the world.The second edition is planned for next September and January, with Level 1 taking place in 2 Milan and Level 2 in Barcelona. 3To Dr. Rossberg and
