Consequently, the intelligence of a system correlates directly with its ability to perform actions that could have legal consequences. AI has entered many industries, including healthcare and education. The ability of machines to perform tasks that typically require human intelligence is referred to as artificial intelligence. Technology plays a very important role in society today because it has the ability to influence the attitudes and actions of its members. Therefore, comprehensive legislation is needed to ensure that artificial intelligence is used fairly. According to progressive legal theory, AI can be used to meet human needs rather than maintain existing systems. Progressive legal theory is based on the “law for humans” paradigm. This theory links the values of Pancasila as the moral foundation of the Indonesian nation with the ethics of applying artificial intelligence and its consequences.
