With its operations in a dynamic ELV systems integration industry, the organisation has used workforce flexibility, retention of skilled workers, and strategic redeployment to keep its operations running even when there is havoc like the COVID-19. The development of a complementary venture, ShowCraft allowed to utilize the available technical potential in the most efficient way and thus diversify without raising the number of employees. The research brings out the role of human capital as a strategic asset within uncertain settings as well as underscoring the existence of structured talent development and succession planning in providing a long term sustainability and scalability.
