La Biorégion du Grand Paris: une vision du futur

Through bioregions, we need to imagine landscapes of moderation and care in order to reincarnate ecological limits in territories through landscape ecology. This is how we projected a bioregional vision onto the Île-de-France region, through a reflection on its medium-term subsistence. In this case study, the eight bioregions of the Île-de-France region that we designed made it possible to reestablish shorter agricultural circuits and gradually reorganize the current monocultures of plantations into a variety of hedgerows and a nourishing mosaic, attracting new jobs that cannot be relocated.
